SeaGauge Installation

Examples are the best way to describe how SeaSwitch and SeaGauge will transform your dash into a modern and functional helm. Our customers are happy to provide their installations as examples on how  SeaSwitch and SeaGauge  have replaced mechanical switches and displays to give them added function and reliability.

A 21 foot Mako located in Florida was in desperate need of instrumentation. Weather had destroyed existing switches and left little room to mount new electronics

Before:

Old helm had an analog Tachometer, Oil Gauge, and Volt gauge which were destroyed from salt water spray. Switches were mounted underneath the dash and were difficult to get to but that did not prevent the elements from rendering them useless.

After:

Two SeaSwitch units were mounted in easy access to provide digital display of Tac, Oil, Volt, and Water temperature as well as seven switch positions for GPS, Sonar, Radio, Bilge, Spots, Nav Lights, and Horn. Units were surface mounted and are sealed from salt water spray. LCD displays are easy to read in direct sunlight and backlit for night operation.

A 21 foot Bayliner located on the northern Oregon coast. Wanted to mount GPS/Sonar but had no room as analog gauges and switches took up all the room.

Before:

Old helm had an analog Tachometer, Oil Gauge, Volt and fuel gauges which took up most the space. Two rows of mechanical switches were aligned on both sides with labels that ate up even more space.

After:

Two SeaSwitch units were mounted in easy access up top to provide a total of 16 labeled positions which included GPS, Sonar, Radio, VHF, Bilge, Blower, Wiper, Nav Lights, Cabin Lights, Cockpit Lights, Anchor Lights, Fishbox Bilge, and more. A custom SeaGauge  highlights the center of the console for digital display of nine instruments including Tac, Oil, Engine Temp, Cooling Water Temp, Port and Starboard Manifold temps, Main and Aux Battery Voltage, and Fuel. The space saved by the  SeaSwitch and SeaGauge allowed room for a large GPS/Sonar unit and a forward sweeping Sonar unit. All units are sealed from salt water spray.
