Replace two Yamaha multi-function digital gauges with one compact unit
SeaGauge-X4 can replace dual Yamaha Outboard digital gauges while giving you easy-to-read displays and expanded engine monitoring capabilities. Units are capable of displaying multiple functions including digital tachometer, MPH, engine temperature, engine temp warning, oil level warning, water pump pressure, volts, amps, fuel level, outboard trim, battery charge, and more - all in a single multi-function gauge cluster. Calibration tables are available for Yamaha Outboard senders and can be easily installed into existing Yamaha wiring harness. Units have been tested as replacements for Yamaha Digital Multi-function TACHOMETER 6Y5-8350T-82-00 and YAMAHA Digital Multi-function SPEEDOMETER 6Y5-83570-S5-00. Splice into existing Yamaha senders or install our accurate cylinder head temperature and water pump pressure senders for enhanced monitoring.
Factory Yamaha gauges only give you a warning icon for temperature and oil level while the SeaGauge-X4 can display accurate numerical readout of engine temp and water pump pressure to warn of problems before its too late. SeaGauge-X4 will tell you exactly how many gallons of fuel you have on-board and can be calibrated for any size tank. Outboard trim can be displayed in 1 degree increments and tachometer in 4 digit accuracy. Voltage can be displayed for multiple batteries so you know they are being charged. Programmable hour meter and alarms add to the list of features. SeaGauge-X4 can integrate your Yamaha Outboard functions with GPS and Sonar information for a complete instrumentation panel. Monitor tachometer and temperature from your outboard with speed and depth from your GPS/Sonar unit via integrated NMEA 0183 inputs. These are Chetco Digital Instruments™ units with full factory warranty. Dash cutout is only 6” by 4”. Units display up to 18 digital functions on a user configurable screen. Display 1 to 8 readings at a time - you configure the display labels to suit your needs. Pick and choose which functions you want to monitor using on-screen menus. All sender/sensor inputs are programmable to match existing equipment. No need to replace senders. Uses standard automotive senders. High/Low alarms are programmable for each sensor. Pick and choose your own sender combinations. We can supply senders but they are not included in the price and will incur an additional charge. Both a RS232 and Bluetooth wireless interface are available to attach to PC/Laptop/PDA for real-time viewing and data logging of gauge reading. View and log sensor inputs from outside your car/boat in real-time. Units can be cascaded for additional sensor inputs. The Bluetooth module is not included but can be purchased separately. Case is solid one-piece CNC machined aluminum with triple coated baked finish and sealed water-resist buttons. Easy quick release cable harness and mounting brackets make removal for bad weather or storage a snap. |
